Wolfgirl in Wheatfield (wgiwf@poa.st)'s status on Sunday, 21-Jul-2024 11:58:34 JST Wolfgirl in Wheatfield @Griffith @BowsacNoodle @Victor_Emmanuel Not really. All of scripture is not of equal importance, and the point of the beginning of Genesis is to show that God created everything (in some manner) and the fall of man in regards to sin. One doesn't have to take Genesis literally to come to the same biblical conclusion. And Genesis is really the only book of the bible that has this issue. -

If the universe is billions of years old and its clock started running from the Big Bang, that doesn't mean God didn't create it that way in seven days some smaller amount of time ago.
