     @susie that's exactly what i'm doing but i spent an hour fighting with permissions with ssl certificates and now im mildly unpleased but still running anyway...

     Why not host your own? Mumble servers are very easy to operate.

     Uhhh...I just used murmur or whatever the default is with password protection (edited the .ini). I do use Windows though... There weren't any such issues for me.

     @susie yeah but i run an actual server and linux fucking kicked my ass because of permission issues, apparently mumble doesn't bother to read the certificate and keys while it's still root
