     @TheJen FWIW, we just got quotes on heat pumps with a backup gas furnace install since I'm in Chicago and shit gets cold. We went with a Carrier with variable speed, and a high efficiency furnace and that was $23K. Highest quote we got was $28K with Trane.

     Got a quote for heat pump installation. Yeaaaaah gonna get a few different opinions.

     Fuckers wanted 30k to install that and an upgraded evaporative cooler.

     They can take that quote and shove it where the sun don't shine.
