   Anyone else observe that all these big venues you go to for events require bags you bring in to be clear because our security goons are so terrible at looking inside bags and apparently metal detectors don't work or something?
   
   I've seen this a few times in the last few years. Just like how schools are starting to require it too.

     @feld we do this at the uni library so you don't steal books, but still carry your laptop. I just use my hands :brain3:
