   I'm in the process of buying a new used car, anyone have an advice on negotiating the best deal?

     @RickiTarr When I was younger, I went & negotiated on behalf of my oldest daughter (who did not have the stomach to put up with it). Back when I could wear flannel & scare people w/my appearance (beards weren’t as common then). It angers me that this world is like this, but I wouldn’t let them treat her the way they treated my mom, sister, and grandmother. But my wife is like a buzzsaw for them. They’d way prefer me these days.

     @RickiTarr I hate to say this, but I’m going to be honest. If you’re a woman, & buying a new car, try to see if you can find a dealership owned by a woman. If not, you have to go in & frankly be mean to them. The car salesman horror stories from female relatives are manifold. I’m sure I’m sounding like a broken record. My wife would go in, tell them what she wanted, price, etc., said those were her conditions &, if not met, would walk. Oh, yeah, never sit down w/them until you buy.

     @WillA763 I have a husband and plenty of other male friends, so I have that covered, but I'm the mean one lol
