     @weeble from what I hear making an ios app isn't so bad but android is a pretty terrible experience even compared to mobile apps. But it is just something I heard.

     @sun @weeble most of the stuff i use has option to use app and so far the website version has been more than enough.

     @weeble The issue with Android is apparently that you can write something that works on a flagship phone and then it will have errors on other phones until you make a lot of adjustments. But with IOS it's pretty consistent?
     
     I hope someone with experience jumps into this thread and says.
     
     I have made mobile websites before and it was challenging because the mobile browsers used to really suck.

     It's complicated as drivers are not even of the same quality. Take for example GL ES drivers lying about caps. Vulkan should be standard more or less by now -- out of that hw for years -- mainly b/c it's not just better they have compliance testing requirements to use their drivers. That's a small example of a major subsystem that's not the same across the board.
