    Anyone besides me finding it a little suspicious that there has been almost no mainstream media reporting on the fact that a U.S. District court in Louisiana just overturned a 5th Circuit decision allowing DeRay Mckesson to be held criminally and financially liable for actions OTHER people took at a BLM protest he organized?

    https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/in-a-major-win-for-our-right-to-protest-federal-court-rules-in-favor-of-prominent-civil-rights-activist

    The media sure covered the 5th Circuit saying "organizing is now functionally illegal" but doesn't have time to say "actually that's not true?"

      @AnarchoNinaWrites Oh definitely.
      Of course, the reason is clear: the first story furthered the Approved Narrative. The second, directly contradicts the same. We can't have people realising they're legally allowed to organise, now can we??
