Man I love that someone decided that muting people for less than a day was just not important and now I can't do it anymore and my mental health is just worse when using this site

  @gilesgoat Muting isn't just for people being assholes. I just muted someone I follow for a couple hours because they were writing a long thread about a topic I didn't want to see. But in a couple hours they'll likely be done, and I'll be able to see their future posts.

  @eniko ... I have to ask .. I am missing something ( important ? ) here .. WHY you need so much this "muting for less than 1 day ?" .. What's going on ? And what effect actually does muting someone "for less than a day" ? Are you blasted by people writing you messages "every 5 minutes with crap" ? Why ? "Normally" if someone is an arse you mute it forever or much longer ? Something unusual is going on here ?
