     I'm being told the White House has disavowed the highlighted statement re: the Biden's campaign strategy going forward, per The Nation - although they sound skeptical, and so am I.

     That having been said, regardless of whether or not this WAS the plan, I'll settle for the dipshits in charge realizing it's a TERRIBLE fucking plan, and simply not doing it.

     For once, liberals AND the left were united in saying "this is fucking BULLSHIT" - which may have been enough to wake Team Ichabod up.

     If I'm wrong, and this was never the plan, then I would expect the source that gave it to Reuters to be fired. Since you know, lying about what the President is going to do, in a way that actively harms your campaign, is the kinda shit people get fired over.

     I have my doubts. I'm pretty sure the disavowal is in response to all reasonable people reading that and going "are you fucking BONKERS" and or "eat shit you morally bankrupt cowards."

     But we'll see if anyone gets axed over it.

     @AnarchoNinaWrites I actually watched the speech specifically to watch for that and he didn't say it, so then I wondered if it had actually been impressed on him that it was a terrible thing to say.

     He did say "battlebox" (for "ballot box") several times, but that's another story entirely
