Being a true pacifist and opposing violence everywhere is not abhorrent.
Denying those who are the direct targets of agents who want to eliminate them the right of self-defense and life-protection, and calling them "abhorrent" because they reject simply being unarmed in the face of actual genocide??
That would be the definition of "abhorrent".

It's times like this that I hate #mastodon. Being told that calling for an end to #violence against EVERYONE is proof that I would sell out the #LGBT community and other marginalized people is abhorrent. It will further cause violence against those of us working to end violence against all of us. It is disturbing that our community attacks those of us fighting for our rights. So much for acceptance. #enbybishop
