     what people don't seem to get about this stuff is it's probability. What are the odds that trump turn his head for a fraction of a second at the exact right moment so that a bullet traveling at 3000feet/sec grazed his ear on a headshot that should have been aimed at his torso. Then the secret service who weren't watching the unmarked rooftop in clear view of the ex president, gun the would be assassin down in a moments notice.

     The thing about getting shot, even at a distance, is that you're hit by the time you hear it.
     
     I think there could be an explanation about how they found him so fast though. Snipers and the other officers had all visible areas divided into zones. Only one had to spot and call the zone. Snipers then have a few seconds to react. It's possible they saw him before he fired, but couldn't get the shots off quick enough.

     there were 2 buildings in hte entire field, and they just left the one with an unobstructed view empty? Pretty sus. anyway my gripe is with the improbability of the miss. if he got hit in the shoulder i'd be fine with it. it grazed his earlobe. like gimme a fucking break. You know that is so unbelievably improbably that it's just safer to assume it isn't what actually happened. Could it happen? sure why not. But did it? I'm going to reserve judgement. We already knew the guy was going to win and this assures it. It's probably going to be some sort of Nixon landslide and then it's off to war against Russia in 2025.
