IMPORTANT DISABILITY UPDATE
The worst that could happen to me just happened.
Just got and read the official letter from Social Security where they denied my appeal to receive SSDI, on the grounds that I had not proven -- despite my personal doctor's testimony -- that I was disabled enough in their eyes to not seek work.
So, basically, I am f*cked, and down to three options.
1/

1) I can appeal this latest decision further through an Administrative Law Judge, which would hold an official hearing on my case, with me (either directly or through legal help) making my case for receiving funds. I have 60 days from now to make that decision.
2/

2) I can take the risk and decide to seek active work again, but with accommodations towards my medical condition; however, that entails the risk that if stressed in any way, my condition would relapse and I would not be able to perform any tasks; and I would have no medical benefits since I would basically be starting from the very beginning at entry level employment.

Going back to work would also risk me losing my student loan discharge due to disability; and possibly even my latest discharge based on income.
3) I could just rely on crowdfunding for basic survival funds for the next 2 years until May of 2026, when I reach 62 -- the minimum eligibility age for filing for Social Security and Medicare. That would be the least desirable outcome.

I really don't want to be in permanent beg mode for the next 2 years; but I really have no real choices other than that and risking my health with another job.
In the meantime, I will need help more than ever to get through this, whatever my final decision is.

Update: I have gone ahead and filed that online appeal of this latest denial with SSA; now I have to await a date with an Administrative Law Judge in court to hear my latest appeal.
In the meantime, I will be needing lots and lots of help to get through this period. $200 RIGHT NOW; then $1,000 by the final week of July for the usual end-of-the-month rent/utilities/food expenses.

@AnthonyJK I applied for SSI from 2001 through 2017 and was denied repeatedly for my Schizoaffective disorder. More annoyingly my mom died when I was 8 and I was due survivors benefits that the SSA never paid. It took me years to get it. What finally made the difference was getting a doctor who documented everything and exactly how it made it impossible for me to work. I wish you the best. I know how hard it can be.

I have a doctor that is very loyal and sensitive to my needs, and he has documented everything about my condition. The problem is that no one in the bureaucracy wants to believe that enough to award me the funds I have earned.
This system is stupid and broke, but it's all I have for now.

The appeal has been filed, and the legal firm representing me has been informed.
In the meantime, I will still need funds to pay my essential expenses. $300 RIGHT NOW for current bills and purchasing food; an additional $1,000 by next week for rent and the end-of-the-month utility bills. I am currently very broke, so any donations would be appreciated.
