@RickiTarr For anyone who is disabled, we're treated like invisible beings who do not deserve to exist.
Being deaf is an invisible disability thus I don't have the overt discrimination others do, but that's because I don't call attention to it.
That's why so many of us being disabled is something we must hide to be accepted as actual human beings, not flawed or damaged lives. Yes, it is humiliating to be like this but people don't want to accept us as we are, we have to do it for them.
