     No, in any half decent currency, manufacturers cannot void a warranty for merely replacing the battery.
     
     They can only void the warranty if they can prove the battery change was done so poorly that the device was broken in the process, or the installed battery is defective and broke the device with excessive voltage.

     @kaia@brotka.st I saw this thing, and I'm in the market for new phone right now. $200 would have been perfect, if this thing were actually modular. Like I would totally throw tons of more money later down the line at this thing if I could upgrade the camera or even the main-board or something. But not even the battery is replacable smh...

     @kaia I wrote them off for good when they outright lied about their chat app having end to end encryption. Plenty of boneheaded decisions before then but that was where I concluded that they're just a company that's perfectly comfortable with dishonesty.
