Clean clothes, discipline, hygien will always be important.Don't underestimate our ancestors. Those grannies were once young and they kept a clean house.
I still got to help my grandma out, on the island, hand washing during winter. All water heated by fire and drawn manually from a well. That's over three decades ago but the huge fire place cooker is still there. Ready to be of use.

I have polyester blankets and some pajama pants, but that shit is a bitch to wash. The first time you wash it the fabric looks fucked, so I've stuck to cotton because it's cheaper and washes better. I don't have a regular washer and dryer I have this mini piece of shit I bought from Amazon that washes my clothes, and it sits in my bathtub. Any large blankets I have to take the laundromat, which costs $5 for wash and $5 for drying.
The microplastic shit is already in the air and water anyway. There really is no escape from it, just be glad our fucking enemies are affected too. -
