     @Suiseiseki then explain your question to me. In what world would somebody whos main job isnt maintaining laptop hardware do that job instead of a guy who got hired for that (these dudes get you new mice, monitors, fix your outlook etc.). Often programmers think those people dont need to exist because theyre retarded and have infinite time or smth (usually the unemployed)

     I haven't worked in any jobs where I get paid not to do anything and obviously I'd prefer doing easy work that respects my freedom over hard, absolutely proprietary work.
