There's nothing inconsistent about *MY* position:

I want to stop fascism. You want to leave that job to a guy who won't stop fascism, and in fact enacts fascist policy to try to court fascist voters.

I'm literally ALL about stopping fascism and always have been. I've even told you how to do that - bricks, riots, mass defense.

Only one of us is inconsistent, saying "stop fascism" and then insisting how you do that is relying on the guy IN CHARGE RIGHT NOW who does NOTHING to stop fascism.

      You're literally all muppets.

Who run bartertown RIGHT NOW? Who is running the government RIGHT NOW? What is happening RIGHT NOW?

We are in year 7.5 of the Trump presidency and you're telling me "vote for Joe" is the SOLUTION to that problem, even WHILE he's in power trying to work with fascists, conducting a genocide, importing Trump's immigration policies, empowering fascist murderpolice and demonizing the protestors you NEED to stop fascism as violent antisemites?

      GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER.

@andymouse I'm more inclined to pick Trotsky:

      https://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/works/1944/1944-fas.htm

Individual acts of violence have a historically poor track record of producing a revolution; and it's going to take a revolution to stop fascism, since it takes its power and legitimacy from the capitalists paying for all that fascism.

So, no, not Guy Fawkes, but yes, taking back our power en masse in a very visceral, physical way in the streets.

        Guy Fawkes
Guy Fawkes (; 13 April 1570 – 31 January 1606), also known as Guido Fawkes while fighting for the Spanish, was a member of a group of provincial English Catholics involved in the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605. He was born and educated in York; his father died when Fawkes was eight years old, after which his mother married a recusant Catholic. Fawkes converted to Catholicism and left for mainland Europe, where he fought for Catholic Spain in the Eighty Years' War against Protestant Dutch reformers in the Low Countries. He travelled to Spain to seek support for a Catholic rebellion in England without success. He later met Thomas Wintour, with whom he returned to England. Wintour introduced him to Robert Catesby, who planned to assassinate King James I and restore a Catholic monarch to the throne. The plotters leased an undercroft beneath the House of Lords; Fawkes was placed in charge of the gunpowder that they stockpiled there. The authorities were prompted by an anonymous letter to search Westminster Palace during the early hours of 5 November, and they found Fawkes guarding the explosives. He was questioned...

@andymouse I can't tell if you were being sarcastic or not, but you're welcome.

If you'd like something more modern, this is what I consider the MODERATE position - anything less than what this guy wrote, is basically just enabling:
