@SiteRelEnby @dioux70 @mos_8502 to elaborate slightly in case the implications are not already known - MDM software grants the entity running the service (the employer in this case) a degree of control over what is installed on the device, and visibility in to what happens on it. Possibly complete control and visibility. There's good reason for orgs to want this - but it's absolutely unreasonable for them to expect employees to put it on a personal device. Despite this, many expect it anyway.

Slack does work without it, and I have it set up with Island so that it shuts off outside working hours.
