is there a way of running two pleroma/akkoma instances using a single installation? Not sure if I can tell *oma to use a different config file or something.

@rin @fristi In a source installation I don't think you can move the config directory or maybe it would be possible

@fristi on the same machine? yeah, have a separate source code directory for each, set up different ports and adapt the service file. that's what worked for me (was 2 years ago though)
from the same directory? not sure

@fristi @rin the issue I had with OTP was I couldn't get it to change its erlang shortname, so multiple installations interfered with each other.

@rin problem is I'm running OTP releases instead of from source :/

@rin @fristi I interpreted their post to mean, using the same directory. I have run multiple source installations from different directories just fine. for OTP I had to put them in completely different users or it failed.

@sun @fristi doesn't source installation source it's config from $workdir/config/config.exs? so if you have two separate clones in separate directories won't each one source config from it's own directory when it's started?
I definitely got two source instances on same machine working back in the day, but my memory is a bit fuzzy on how
