@thomasfuchs I guess my question is: "Who still has 3.5" floppy drives?" Collectors/fans of vintage hardware? Certainly. Me? Yes: I still have a USB 1 3.5" floppy drive. 🤣
@Infoseepage PCs (and Macs) didn’t have USB at the time. FlashPath (May 1998) predates USB 1.1 which was the first version of USB with any wider usage (August 1998, iMac G3).
@thomasfuchs I remember these and at the time it was actually imo a fairly smart way of getting images into computers, given that a lot of computers had just serial, parallel and a limited number of USB ports. USB mass storage devices profiles weren't really much of a thing at the time.
