     @mrsaturday incidentally I read the same docs he did and my interpretation is that the cult was being railroaded by a couple zealous cops for "satan worship"

     @sun @istvan That part of the story always sat strangely with me. If they were going from DC to Mexico, why would they be in Tallahassee? I don't know that much about the road system in the South, but I imagine if it's to avoid the Appalachians, they could just pass through Atlanta and head west.
