     @kaia my position is that this ruling is bad but de facto the president is already immune because nobody actually believes that bush, obama, trump or biden will be prosecuted for using drones to murder people

     @kaia basically the ability to sue a president is just something that will get dragged out if more powerful people want the president out but will never be used to actually constrain a president's actions when it serves that power.

     @kaia anything good you'd actually want to sue trump for you could sue any of the last five presidents for so those will never be touched. just things like misdemeanors elevated to felonies for procedural reasons, because those won't have consequences for a future president's actions.

     @sun I remember when Obama said: "if President does it, it's not illegal". And then turned out he paraphrased Nixon. And it was something like 15 years ago or more. And now they are throwing a fit because Supreme Court says the same thing. They were saying that for longer than I was alive.
