I grew up in a town of 10000 people living in an area about 4 km wide, with another 2000 living in the greater area of 10 km × 30 km. It was beautiful but not very exciting. There was a cinema, but we drove 75 km to go to the cinema that had the good movies.
Now I live in a residential block of 300 m × 200 m with 16000 people in it and I don't have to go outdoors to buy bananas, or to go to the cinema. It's quite amazing. And it's not even all concrete jungle. I take a ten-minute walk and I'm in a forest that takes hours to walk across.

But I love the 200 restaurants around the corner. Except that they don't have Swedish pizza.
There was a "Pizzeria Swish" by two Yugoslavian Swedes a few metro stations from here, but it closed down recently, so it seems this city couldn't handle it. -

#HongKong is awesome. I'm worrying that if I move out of HK, everywhere will feel like a small town, and paradoxically I also won't have access to wild areas as well.clacke@libranet.de is my main likes this. -
