     @sickburnbro No it's a stupid point. until about 1800 doctors had basically no idea what they were doing at all. Until about 1923 you were more likely to get worse at a doctors hands than be healed. Well until the late 1990s/early naughts womens issues were often written off using this kind of handwaving argument. It wasn't until about the past couple years that stuff like fibromyalgia started to really get to be understood and there's still tons of open questions about women's health. And long covid isn't just a women thing (though it does predominately affect them, which makes sense, given how it impacts the immune system). You can only believe this sort of thing while being completely isolated from the long covid community (ie by them fediblocking you)
