White girls are more like crazy environmentalists.
HOWEVER, I'm pretty close to Paris so things are probably very different when you go out just a little bit into the countryside, farmers rule this country with an iron fist.
In any case, it's not something I pay much attention to as I'm married to a very awesome Romanian woman.
Oh yes, that's another advantage of France, they never made an actual war against their population like the deindustrialization of the rust belt - also drugs are not really a thing. You have some people smoking weed but no real heroin or fentanyl.
And while the taxes are obscenely high, otherwise cost of living is surprisingly good.
Seems like there will pros and cons to wherever you live...
TBH the police where I live are pretty mellow, they only flex if you give them reason too. (inb4 Ruby Ridge, that was the faggot feds in the 80s not local cops).
But we do suffer from low wages and high cost of living. People are just either falling behind or being forced to adapt and step up their game... Like I've lost 35 pounds in the past 6 months because I can't afford to eat like I used to. But is that a bad thing? I'm happy to be skinny like my 20s again tbh.
@gnarley_boot@11112011@cjd For my whole life, people get so worked up in the States, about w/e, but if you take the time to look around, there is still no better place to be.
North or south, east or west, which ever direction you head, you simply find some place to be less free. Usually with fewer Christians.
As much as the news media tells us otherwise. The good, the Christian, are still abundant in the States. And, that makes it better here than anywhere else on the planet.
Not entirely true, different places have different trade-offs.
France (where I live): - Super high taxes + High quality food at normal price - Extremely chaotic and dysfunctional bureaucracy + Police are not terrorists, no-knock warrants non-existent, no SWATing - Fuel is super expensive + No hidden "gotchya" police speed traps - Lot of scams in business & little recourse, police do not care + No "personal injury actors" trying to sue you and take your house
At current I find it better than the US, but I grew up in Massachusetts, so take that as you will...
I love Aussie Cossack, I love Russia. Zelensky is scum.
With that being said, America is still the greatest country on earth and I'd take this place over any 3rd world shithole anyday. We know whats wrong here. We have to stand by and see what happens with this election. Atleast we are transparent.
Did you know China is experiencing a crisis right now with mass civil unrest and citizens snapping and killing each other. Revenge against society mass killings are common and rising in occurance there. But you'll never hear about save leaks to the west because the CCP is good at hiding it.
I thought so. I like you so I won't be rude. But you don't live here, you don't have children here. We don't know what is going to happen but don't jump to conclusions with every leftiod threat and nonsense they push online. A lot of it is vapid, fake and or paid shills sowing dicord. I've been at this for well over 8 years and the future is weird but has been so far unpredictable.
I'm not saying America doesn't have problems, but things often get blown out of porportion, rumors spread, and we hyperfocus on things that don't necessarily reflect the nation as a whole.
