   Chinatsu fainted on the flight. Giving me a good ol’ scare. “This happens sometimes” she said. OK never seen her do that but whatever. 30 minute flat in the galley on oxygen and as good as rain. Needless to say we’ll visit the doctor tomorrow.

     @pippa @brian I just had this happen to me on my 13 hour flight to the US today. Thankfully didn't pass out or throw up, but it was rough. Going to the doctor is probably a good idea, but from personal experience, passing out can happen from really mundane things. But it is scary!

     @pippa The scariest I ever been. She just slumped over and didn’t respond for a good 15 seconds, drenched in sweat. “Normally I just go to the toilet” gurrrl we getting you the premium checkup tomorrow. 😭

     @brian yes please 😭 is it only on flights? i’m guessing she doesn’t have a history of randomly fainting at other times?

     @Dana @brian I used to pass out fairly often as a kid and still have moments when I stand up too fast, but the triggers are more readily apparent (posture changes etc) and not just randomly while already sitting!

     @pippa @Dana @brian I fainted in church a lot as a kid. Probably god warning me to get the hell out of there. Have also fainted in every kind of doctor's office, including at the eye doctor while trying to read a magazine with my pupils dilated.

     I've also fainted at the doctor's office, after getting shots. The doctor said it's called vasovagal syncope.

     @brian @Dana @WataruTenkawa yes that’s the medical term for fainting iirc! Wataru did your parents ever scold you for the church fainting? I once passed out while my parents were telling me off over something and I got it even worse when I came to because they thought I was doing it for attention 😂
