   I just found this stuff in my letterbox, jolting me and - to be honest - really quite upsetting me. The Green stuff is inoffensive, the Workers Party shit is bad, but I'm talking about someone having the right to have hate propaganda dumped into my home and in my face, denying my identity and existence - while complaining, as always, that they're being silenced.

     I came out a couple years back but, shit, I knew I was non-binary all my fucking life. In fact, you know what? As far as I can recall I have never, ever, stated this publicly before, in my thirty years on the internet, but I love Mastodon so here goes: I was born under different forenames, and by the time I was just eleven years of age (yes: eleven!) I knew I wanted them changed to forenames that were specifically non-binary, even though I was unable to articulate it in that way (I just said I wanted names that could be for any gender). But my mother supported me, and so my forenames were changed - and have been my legal forenames ever since. (Of course, a few who got close to me later enjoyed deadnaming me a few times over the years to score points.)      I've been shaken and upset by this, and I know this politician would love that, but it's turning to anger now - anger at these fucking ghouls who are so oblivious to gender as performance, so obtuse with outdated "radical" "feminism" obsessed with "sex wars" and penises as biological "instruments of oppression" and reinforcing binaries so that they can play on and switch the "superior" and "inferior" groups that supremacism and fascism depend upon. No wonder so many of these types of politicians are backed by those who openly team up with fascists. Assholes.

     @MediaActivist yep, stood on my doorstep and defended backstabiing the elected leader for the good of the party, because socialist ideals were bad for Labour....

     I explained that he should go forth and have children and a better life, but never my vote.

     He didn't like that for some reason.
