Why do these people always need money? Their entire lives are subsidized as is, yet every other time you see one of these primates on the street it's to essentially threaten/sympathy bait random decently dressed people into giving them cash (as if anyone carries around cash these days, specifically because of people like this).
I remember my mom always dressing like crap to go out and get gas, never understood why until I was an adult, it was to make her less of a target for Tyrone and his aggravated begging antics.

And the funny part of it is that unlike how the anglos did it, the way the spaniards did it resulted in a culture that loves being Spanish, and that's why Spain has managed to avoid being on the list of evil colonizers. You can't attack them because you'd simultaneously attack every hispanic.

Which is understandable, they consider them inferior while still placing emphasis on their language role, more or less openly, may change from region to region, Galicia and Asturia hardly tolerate foreigners, Catalunya is completely pozzed however.

Well Italy didn't have much of a say in things for a good 1300 years there.
Sicilians and Lombards aren't even really the same race.
But the joke is Spanish, Italian, and that weird port of Gaul language are all somewhat mutually intelligible as direct evolutions of Latin.

@Deplorable_Degenerate @Humpleupagus @LordOfTheKangs @Shadowman311 Kinda, southerners have an history with foreigners, they'll never be liked there, and they're profoundly structured around the family as a societal structure.
However, Italians had much less influence and have a wider variety of languages, italian, as a language, exist from less than a couple centuries.
If you know spanish, you'd know (while still understanding most of what they say) a Catalunyan from an Asturian.
In Italy a northerner and a southerner would hardly understand each other.
Some italian dialects have foreign influences, spanish doesn't have that, because they were exceptionally harsh at punishing those who butchered the language purity.

It's mainly because of 2 reasons. One is that the rulers of cataluña are huge lefties and like all leftoid urbanites, they want their cities filled with uncultured brownoids that shit the place up. Just look how it turned up when Barcelona decreed that squatting and occupying buildings wasn't a crime anymore.
The second is because Catalonian nationalists hate Spain and spanish people in general. They feel deeply wronged when the central governmen doesn't bend the knee to their outrageous demands and threatens with throwing a shitfit like what happened in November 8. But that time it ended up blowing up in their faces
