Someone was talking about "the dangers of raw milk"

I asked them for their numbers

    They provided some

    I computed the risk

Jews cannot be true friends. When things get real, they will always pick being a jew and other jews over your friendship.

I'm particularly anti-Jew. Some of my long time friends and colleagues are Jews and I trust them most than almost anyone. But I'm not gonna sit and pretend like no Jew has ever done anything shady in the entire history of the world, I'm not a boot-licker.

@cjd @Phil @EvolLove y'all never, like NEVER have ANY criticism or sharp scrutiny for anyone but Jews. (or non-Jews affiliated with them, contaminated in your mind by association). Amazing how that works. The fact that focused race hatred knocks double-digit points off your potential IQ matters not at all. In fact, nothing matters but scapegoating those big-nosed money-grubbing, universe-controlling Kikes, usually smarter and more resilient than you, and therefore are responsible. Jesus: "SMH" 🕍

It was not so much a problem for people at home as it was a problem for the grocery stores. Due to transports and that the milk had to be sold before it got bad.

Still today with good refrigerators, unpasteurized milk will get sower faster than pasteurized.

SO it was never about safety for consumers it was always about profit for supermarkets.

Actually the first death due to consumption of bad milk only occurred after pasteurized milk became the norm.

The reason for this is that not pasteurized milk has bacteria that prevents salmonella. It will get really sower though. And smell and taste bad.

But once you kill all the natural bacteria in them milk it is vulnerable to all kinds of bacteria even salmonella if contaminated. Thus the first death due to milk was from pasteurized milk.

      pasteurizing prolongs sustainability.

@cjd on top of that some of thise illnesses are caused by mishandling it after purchase and this can even cause illness with pasteurized milk products.

That I can’t answer. I can tell you that is well outside of the norm. The ironic part of raw milk state regulations is that there are around 15-20(?) states that allow unfettered retail sales (e.g. supermarkets), including most states in the west and northeast.

I worked in that industry and still have tangential ties to it. I think you are assuming things that aren’t true. Refrigeration is not a factor. Milk continues to be transported from the farms to the processing facilities *unrefrigerated*. The next time you see a Milk Tanker Truck, you will not find a reefer (refrigeration) unit. All liquid dairy products are short-shelf life (5-10 days).

@Bunnyslope @EvolLove @cjd if five to 10 days is it, then why are the sell by dates so much longer than that? Wife bought milk yesterday with a 7/20 expiration date

Is she buying a product that is “ultra-pasteurized”? (it’s usually in small print) If so, it’s an ESL product. ESL’s are even less healthy than normal.

Nah, I am pretty sure it was about increased profit. Not necessary a bad thing in it self. If it were not for the lies and the fact that the milk became a less good product, possibly harmful.

And today with better transportation and storage there really ain't that much need for it.

I would love for unpasteurized milk to do a comeback in the supermarkets.
