     @kaia@brotka.st Frankly, that doesn't seem too outlandish. Even in Germany you'll probably be in a similar ballpark for the same position - and salaries in the US (at least in IT) are usually higher.
     I'd even say it seems rather low.

     @kaia I think the most important job that the IA does is too convince the public and the government that they are somehow different and that massive copyright violations are ok for them (which I of course support). The technical side is nearly incidental.

     Check out who is running it. They mainly do it for censorship reasons it seems.

     IA? They're literally using it to filter content due to family ties not just corp and political party interests. It's more petty than most think.

     @thendrix @kaia @lain With how common it's become among billionaires to use access to their money to leverage political obedience out of entities, I don't know how much this can be blamed on them. In a "stakeholder" culture, it's harder to find out where the buck stops.
