Is no one at Apple using fast user switching anymore? It's completely broken on my wife's M1 MacBook Pro with latest macOS.
Like I'm talking spinning beachball of death stops spinning for a while broken.

  @thomasfuchs I’m getting increasingly convinced nobody at either Apple nor Microsoft actually use their OS’es in multi-user environments at all anymore.
