     @fcktheworld587 fake news/misinformation is only not a thing because we can call people out on that bullshit.

     However, Mastodon is adding "limit replies" soon so that people can spread misinfo without being checked! Doesn't that sound fun?!?🤦♂️🙄

     @BeAware there's more to it than just the ability to call it out. The ability to limit replies does sound potentially useful, but also incredibly dangerous. I'm sure nobody at Meta suggested to Eugen that it could be a good thing to add
