    LOL

The Telegraph is reporting how British PM Sunak is likely to oversee the Conservatives being wiped out at the polls, even losing his own seat.

This would make him the first sitting Prime Minister in history to do that.

It's kind of fitting; he is barely a real PM anyways. He's more like a vulture venture firm office manager put in as CEO of their latest acquisition to chop shop the thing for parts and milk the brand name subbing out cheap shit for valuable assets.

    Like our guy Poilievre.

@adwright Aren't governing parties usually punished at the polls?

You mean specifically the PM losing their seat would be unique? Are they usually running in a safe constituency?

The sitting PM losing their seat would be unique. Yes, usually. He is MP for a solid Tory seat.

@mansr @adwright I'm thinking that when you reach the top, they put you in a safe place, because it's embarrassing if your PM drops out.

@clacke @adwright Maybe it's easier to rise to the top if you're in a safe constituency.
