     Oh god yes I just had to put the blind up in the studio (kitchen) because my workspace (rickety camping table covered in shit) faces the window.

     @botvolution Yeah our kitchen faces the same way. We always end up sticking loads of newspaper over the windows in there for a bit of shade, which I'm sure looks delightful to the neighbours, but fuck it

     Mine faces a huge white painted wall which catches the sun year round. My eyeballs sizzle.

     When I had a darkroom at my old place I bought a few metres of three-pass blackout fabric from eBay. Pretty inexpensive and 100% effective. Recommend.
