     I'm struggling with stuff today.

     I had my first birthday card yesterday from my dad since my mother has passed away, and the complete absence of my mother's name on the card hit me in ways that I hadn't expected it to.

     Grief is now my new friend, a lifelong relationship that I now have to make space for.

     A friend that I'll now make space for at the table and invite into every aspect of my life.

     A friend that will help me accept the treasures in memories and the healing power in letting go.
