@meowski @sun Dementia is my great fear. Because of the disintegration of the personality, I will not even be able to off myself once it sets in.

I was flying an approach into Skylark (KILE) on Saturday, which is based on an off-airport VOR beacon. We passed the flip point and followed the LP (GPS) procedure, which is based on distance. I looked at my DME indicator and then had a moment of scary confusion because it showed 5.6, while the procedure is interrupted at 7 nm. I had a big Biden Moment because I somehow could not connect that with the beacon off airport, the distance actually _grows_ as you _approach_ the airport. Fortunately the weather was good.

The next day I cut an avocado, and put one half on the sandwich and the other half on the saver. Then I very nearly put the saver with the avocado into the drawer where avocado slicer goes.
