@TrevorGoodchild @lpheathen2 Gotta do not only HIIT and lifting, but cardio as well. It seems like everyone either hates high intensity or long duration ( cardio ) - find what you hate and beat the hate out.
I hated cardio, so I learned to run for over 2 hours. On the positive side, hating cardio means it gives you a lot of time to think about exactly what you hate.

@TrevorGoodchild you might only be running 6:39 but got to give yourself a break. depending on iteration age. Are you doing 4X4’s to speed up? They’ve helped with my speed. All out this morning was 5:47 but I’ve been doing 4X4’s for months now.

@lpheathen2 I cycle every 6 months between emphasizing either HIIT or lifting and now it's time to go back to HIIT. Will focus on circuits and the ultimate goal is to get the mile time below 6 minutes, joints allowing. We'll see

@sickburnbro @TrevorGoodchild I hate it. lol. I hate cardio with a passion. that’s why I run 7 days a week. if I give myself sone time off I might enjoy it too much. right now it’s mostly 40 minutes or running about 5 miles and Sundays are long run days 13 miles.
lots of time to think or not think.

@lpheathen2 @TrevorGoodchild I've found that what I hate the most is
1. feet too wet - fix with proper socks
2. too hot - run early
3. the wall - run until your body adapts to providing blood sugar earlier

@lpheathen2 @TrevorGoodchild the only wall I have left to smash is the 20 mile wall
