   What happens if they change the price between when you picked it up on the shelf and when you get to the register? At some point isn't that false advertising or something?

     @Thebratdragon @artemis There was a story that the Wendy’s CEO was considering surge pricing in burgers. The day that starts, I will never eat one of their burgers again. Dave Thomas is rolling in his grave.

     @artemis I despise the whole concept of surge pricing.

     I understand the advantages of centrally controlled price labels, but 5he centrally controlled price gougers are another matter. They should not be updatable while the shop is open to the public.
