     There was a major scandal too in which it emerged how those "peer reviewed studies" were regularly falsified and retractions extorted.
     Surely @TrevorGoodchild has it saved somewhere, cba to find in which HDD I put it.

     @sickburnbro Apparently the original preprint was rejected a couple years ago because "the methodology doesn't match the conclusion." Has a new version finished the process?
