     @thanius Nope, but it removes the phone number/alias requirement that signal has .. instead a temporary hash .. anonymous, transport over TOR and decentralized -- No infrastructure that can be tapped or seized.

     fwiw, since I run my own Matrix server I bridge my Signal into it as well. One client to rule them all.
