   Was thinking about my grandfather today, and how things were in the before times when we were a White high trust society.
   
   When I was a young fella every sit-down restaurant had a long coat rack with a shelf above for hats. You'd come in from the cold and you'd hang up your coat, and put your cap above it. My grandfather had a habit of forgetting his cap. Usually one of us grandsons had to run in and get it for him.

     When I was a kid, these were still quite common. The good old greasy spoon.
