   Interesting portable hub that snaps onto the Steam Deck so you don't need a dock. The Deck only has one USB-C port, so this expands it.

     It's cool how the deck isn't really exclusive as far as peripherals go. Valve just made the Dock specifically for the deck but other hubs work just as well

     It's cool how the deck is a new form factor of computer. It's as powerful as a $1k laptop for a fraction of the price, and you can hook it up to the same docking station as your laptop for the full desktop experience.

     Good point. The straight design of the USB-C connector isn't great, either. They need to turn this concept into a full case so it can be ventilated properly. Could include space for a battery and expanded storage too.

     @alex This reminds me of Christmas in the 90’s and 2000s when every game system had a dozen new peripherals to throw money at. Some of them were neat, like larger battery capacities, and some were the best scams ever put to fabrication. This one’s pretty neat tho.

     Yeah for sure, I think the Deck is doing well enough that Valve will probably release a next gen version of it in the future with upgraded specs. Pretty cool for the gaming industry as a whole tbh
