   This 2017 Aspros Lagos (Douloufakis on Crete) is Vidiano in acacia and oak. Deep and dry, it has good balancing acidity and some touches of maturity, but it is doing great. It should continue to hold for a few more years, perhaps more than anticipated. That tight, tense finish is enticing. It's best with food. About $35, 14.1% #wine #greece #crete

     @marksquires well, to be fair, the BlueSky bridge is made and funded by a single person with only a few helpful contributors.

     However, when the bridge was first announced, he got MASSIVE backlash for using the term "opt-out" which is just how the Fediverse works. You didn't have to opt-in to get this reply, for example. Due to the backlash, he requires an account to be followed on each side before the interactions will propagate on both ends. Did you follow the Bridgy account from your BlueSky account? The documents say:

     "To bridge your Bluesky account into the fediverse and interact with people there, follow @ap.brid.gy on Bluesky."

     So be sure to do that first, then any future interactions SHOULD come through. Though it's VERY early and he's still working on fixing and refining things.👍

     So, now that non-Masto places are "in the Fediverse," I see on BlueSky that this post appears there if you follow my Masto account from there.But it seems like very limited integration. I made a reply there to myself, and that only appears THERE, not here. I don't even get notice of a reply here!

     Meanwhile,you can follow my Threads account FROM here, but Threads won't allow following Masto from Threads. One-way.

     On the whole, if there's not better integration that this, who cares? #fediverse

     @marksquires obviously this is MUCH in contrast to Threads integration which is funded by a billion dollar company, and as such, I mimic your opinions on that.🤣🤦♂️

     @marksquires no worries.👍 Hope it is successful. There are some glitches and bugs but Ryan has been working pretty quickly with his contributors to squash them.
