   Between the TF2 situation, the CS2 anticheat, the continued existence of Banana, and the fact that they're using their veteran dev talent to make Quirky Cartoon MagentaShit Hero Shooter №51742, it's been interesting to watch Valve slowly erode their own public image
   It didn't have to be this way, they're one of the last gaming companies that didn't have a reputation of greed and retardation and all they had to do was not fuck that up. They're not a publicly traded company, so they're not at the mercy of (((investors))). This is the fate they chose for themselves

     @Spingebill It's like watching someone pay no mind to the fire that is melting their skin off, you keep telling them they're burning alive but they won't comment on what they're gonna do about it.
     If they would just communicate, give us a definitive statement, our hearts may be atleast at peace with the circumstances.

     @Curvin the "Real Gs move in silence like lasagna" strategy may have worked when they were revolutionizing the medium of vidya every few years, but nowadays if they don't speak for themselves then people lose trust and journalists and other bad actors get free reign to shape public discourse about them
