    The Power Macintosh G6E was terrible. It was twice the width and twice the weight of a regular all-in-one G-series Power Mac, and most collapsed under their own weight. Left to their own devices, many popped out of existence into tiny black holes that quickly evaporated.

      @NanoRaptor it even *looks* annoyed by its existence.

      @NanoRaptor When I was at Apple, the only guy who'd have one was the late Martin Minow, who kept one of every computer they ever made b/c he ran regression and performance tests on everything. He instrumented the operating system. Used to post lists of whose code was running well and poorly in the hallway by his office. I'll bet this tank was one of his favorites, lol.

      @NanoRaptor @waynedixon That looks like an accidental “scale image” without locking height and width 😂

      @NanoRaptor

      This was the first (and only) of a planned series of Quadrilateral Macs.
      Notice that the right side is taller than the left and that the top is wider than the bottom. This rather daring departure from the norm was not received well (except by optometrists who had a sudden influx of patients demanding new glasses).

      @NanoRaptor I'm impressed with this photo, you really worked wonders avoiding the gravitational lensing.
