I have an odd renpy error
After pulling text from this list
it comes out like this and I'm not sure why?

maybe because I called it from this and double nesting doesn't work??
@Rasp Only thing I can think of just from looking at it is it gets mad trying to access the value, put it into the string, then put that into an array.
I dunno what a label is, but it seems like a single value.
@Paradox is there a way I can just tell renpy to look at a string for a character then replace that character with something else?
@Rasp I mean there's the replace() function for strings.
@Paradox how do?
@Rasp https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/python-string-replace/
Newstring = oldstring.replace("thing to be replaced", "thing to put in")
@Paradox yeah that wont work because it python code and python code is why its not working in the first place.
@Rasp Often it is something dumb about how the language works. I'm not sure what that is, though. Personally I'd work around it by assigning those strings to variables and then putting the variables into the array.
@Paradox FAIL
@Rasp Well the first problem is you only gave replace one argument.
Also, RevertableList? Apparently renpy uses its own version of stuff, and they aren't documented, but this might help. https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/how-to-replace-values-in-a-list-in-python/
@Paradox okay replace COULD work but only if I can convert [maintence_tasks_des[working_task_ID]] into a string
@Rasp There's this, basically the same thing but a bit more special since it's an array: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3136689/find-and-replace-string-values-in-list
@Paradox I FIXED IT
@Rasp Yayyy ^3^
@Paradox didn't even need the first line
