     @emaechler Yep. That happens when the admins/moderators of an instance want to censor what you're saying...

     It's one of the biggest problems of Fedi in my opinion. Basically the thought police.

     @BeAware it's like tiktok, meta etc - only difference - instead of 1 censorship location, mastodon has such a function for every instance. that's why i set up my own instance for under 100$

     @emaechler facts. Just wanted to keep making it clear that there's 20,000+ admins who can silence you for any reason at any time and they won't hesitate to do so if you fart in their direction.
