   It bugs me to death?? That's how Iran is supposed to be pronounced. EEE-ran.

   And Iraq is EEE-rak, not AI-rak.

     @MarvClowder Not very accurate either. There's no "h" sound when pronouncing the "I" part of Iran. It's really Eeee RAHN. We Malaysians were taught to pronounce it correctly due to the country largely being Muslim.

     Definitely not AI-, yet many pronounce it that way. I blame President Dubya Bush.
