     @Vo i guess he had the mixer because he mentions having two computers and just fading over if one of them shits the bed.
     
     i mean.
     ...
     a cheap laptop running mixx fed in to an actual dj mixer is probably more cost effective than those CDJ-3000s :blobcatdunno:

     @s8n @Vo yeah mixxx supports a version of that. i'm not sure how it specifically works but you have a record with a control signal and feed it back in to the audio interface and mixxx translates it in to control data.
     
     i just have a used, cheap little portable thing for funsies.
