     @ryanhoulihan If they could implement that in a way that wasn't a privacy nightmare? On a personal device this could be amazing. What the hell was I researching last month? Oh here it is. I hoard data for this very reason and to have a searchable version of that would be a gift. But, since its current state is a kafkaesque nightmare element, I’ll play the wait and see game for the time being.

     it might save me some money on backups, if I lost something I could just call up the Jiangsu State Security Department and ask it they kept a copy

     While I'm on the line with them I could ask if they have any of the stuff that was supposed to be deleted from the computer of a business contact and if they could please really delete their copy for real too and then I could check back with that company, and ask them to super delete it for real then

     Not gonna lie it cracks me up that everyone is up in arms and “losing trust” in Microsoft but Apple announces “our AI will also invade user privacy and also dump your shit in the cloud” and their stock price hit a 52-week high
